Residential Special School for Mentally Retarded, Cerebral Palsy Autistic & Multiple Disabled Children:

 This Organisation had been running one Special School for mentally retarded (M R) children with the title  “SWABALAMBAN” in the state capital at Agartala since 1991 from our own resources. This was the first and foremost school in the state of its type to impart teaching in special methods and with latest modern techniques. Since 2000-01 the said school has been maintaining in the Abhoy Ashram Complex as residential one under the support, guidance of the National Trust. Since 2006 this Project is being run as SAMARTH Project. Children of this Institute have been studying simultaneously in the normal school to favour integration and inclusion into the main stream. Efforts are also being taken to constitute Self Help Group among the residents so that they can be channelized the avenues of self-employment.
