Community Based Programme on Deafblind

 With the support from Sense International (India), Ahmedabad, our Organisation has been taking up the project, namely, "Care and Protection of deafblind"  since April 2006 for the interest of rehabilitation & development of children with Deaf blindness. Under the scope of this Project educators have been providing services to four deafblind children in West Tripura district. The deafblind children have made some progress to a great extent for their sense development. A Network of parents of Deafblind children has already been set up in the State. A survey is under progress to identify the number of deafblind children in the State. Every year we sponsor a student for studying on deafblindness on Tripura State to the Helen Killer institute Mumbai with the help of Sense International (India).
