Future Plans

1. Like other States of India, Tripura has huge number of mentally ill men and women roaming in the streets helplessly openly without any care from any place whatsoever. In this group, the young women are most vulnerable for being exposed to HIV and STD. Therefore, we plan to have a Rehabilitation Centre for this most marginalized section with the aim to provide care and protection and bringing them in the main stream of the society.

2. Setting up of a Training Centre and imparting various kinds of trainings to increase the number of service providers for providing more Community Based Rehabilitation Programmes for the disabled.

3. Establishing a Hospital with at least 10 Beds for child and mother (including pregnant) at Bishalghar Sub Division to reduce the mortality rate and the incidence of disability. The proposal is now under process in the Health Department of the State Government.

4. Plan to create Self-Help Groups among the Senior Citizens with a view to provide them all sorts of amusement, such as mental, physical, as well as financial security, so that they may not feel helpless at all.
